Hello everyone. It is hard to believe we have made it to April. For me, time always seems to fly after Spring Break. As a PTA, we are working hard to continue serving our school during these last 2 months of the year. Just to give you a head’-s up, here are some of the events/programs we have coming up for the remainder of the year:
- Mother/Son Event—Friday April 23rd
- Final PTA Meeting of the year — May 6th
- School-wide end of year celebration – TBD
- Yearbook Distribution – May (TBD)
- 5thGrade Learning Celebration Week—May 24th-27th
We are also finishing up our application for School of Excellence. This is a National PTA recognition that we apply for every other year. As part of this recognition, we are required to do an end of the year survey. The deadline for this survey is May 1st
I mentioned earlier, our last General PTA membership meeting of the year is Thursday, May 6th at 7pm via zoom. During this meeting, our campus enhancement team will be making their recommendations, we will be discussing our budget for the 2021-2022 school year, and much more. We would love to have you attend, offer your feedback, and learn more about what is happening at our school as we end the school year.

Hola a todos. Es difícil creer que hayamos llegado a abril. Para mí, el tiempo siempre parece volar después de las vacaciones de primavera. Como PTA, estamos trabajando arduamente para continuar sirviendo a nuestra escuela durante estos últimos 2 meses del año. Solo para darle un adelanto, estos son algunos de los eventos / programas que tenemos para el resto del año:
- Evento de madre e hijo: viernes 23 de abril
- Reunión final de la PTA del año — 6 de mayo
- Celebración de fin de año en toda la escuela – TBD
- Distribución del anuario – mayo (TBD)
- Semana de celebración del aprendizaje de quinto grado: del 24 al 27 de mayo
También estamos terminando nuestra solicitud de Escuela de Excelencia. Este es un reconocimiento de la PTA Nacional que solicitamos cada dos años. Como parte de este reconocimiento, debemos hacer una encuesta de fin de año. Si pudiera tomarse unos minutos para completar esta encuesta haciendo clic en el enlace a continuación, eso realmente ayudaría a nuestra comunidad de PTA https://tinyurl.com/4afu8vb4. La fecha límite para esta encuesta es el 1 de mayo.
Como mencioné anteriormente, nuestra última reunión general de miembros de la PTA del año es el jueves 6 de mayo a las 7 pm a través de zoom. Durante esta reunión, nuestro equipo de mejora del campus hará sus recomendaciones, discutiremos nuestro presupuesto para el año escolar 2021-2022 y mucho más. Nos encantaría que asistieras, ofrecieras tus comentarios y aprendieras más sobre lo que está sucediendo en nuestra escuela al finalizar el año escolar.
