Sylvia Biondo
President
Sylvia Biondo balances being a Mom, running her Real Estate business, volunteering at Jenks and at her church all with a smile on her face. She is the proud Mom of one daughter in 5th grade and dog mom to Frito, their Goldendoodle. Sylvia is a Navy Veteran and has committed her life to the service of others. She is passionate about providing a fun and positive elementary experience for our Jenks Jaguars!
Christin Hommel
VP of Programs
Christin is Mom to two great kids, one at Jenks and one at Adams JH. She brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our PTA Board and is looking forward to sharing fresh ideas with our students and staff. Her hope for this school year is to get more parents involved in everything we do!

Jessica Macchi
VP of Volunteers
Jess is originally from NYC and Columbia and has been proudly calling Texas home since 2018! Before moving here she worked as an Account Manager for two tech startups. She is a proud Mom to two energetic boys - Lucas, who is gearing up for 2nd Grade and Mateo, who is starting Pre-K this fall. Jess has a passion for travel, staying active, indulging in reality TV and creating memories with her family. She is excited to lead our Jenks Volunteers in an incredible year.

Indira Pedreira
VP of Membership
​Indira is a devoted wife and mother of two amazing kids and a passionate petroleum engineer with a successful career as a Project Manager. When she isn't working, her priorities are spending time with her family, hosting family gatherings, traveling and supporting her children's educational journey. From being Room Mom to coordinating dances for the International festival to decorating for events like the Monster Mash and so much more, Indira is volunteering wherever she can.
Maygelia Pena
Secretary
​Maygelia is a mom of two girls at Jenks Elementary and an enthusiastic entrepreneur who enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and reading. She is passionate about volunteering at Jenks and in our community. Her optimistic nature makes her a bright light that shines on each of us and our children.

Natalia Perez
Treasurer
​Natalia was born in Colombia and moved to Miami before making her home in Texas in 2016. By profession, she is an accountant, balancing numbers by day and enjoying time with her family at night. She has two girls, Isabella who will be in Kinder this school year and Alexandra who is starting her school adventure in Pre-K. Outside of work Natalia enjoys working out, diving into books, spending time with family and exploring Houston's diverse dining culture. Last year she dipped her toe in volunteering and decided she wanted to give more to her children and the students of Jenks and joined our board!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Rebecca Van Epp
Parliamentarian
Rebecca is a dedicated mom of three. Her daughter is starting high school at Jordan this fall, her oldest son is beginning junior high, at Adams and her youngest son will be in 4th grade here at Jenks. Since relocating to Katy from Florida six years ago, Rebecca has been an active volunteer at Jenks, where she has chaired numerous PTA programs and served as VP of Programs, President, and Historian. She also serves on the Adams JH PTSA Board. Rebecca loves volunteering and is passionate about working together to create an amazing community for all our Jaguars.

Merry Armentrout
Healthy Lifestyles
​Merry is the mother to three boys, two who attend Jenks in the 2nd and 4th grade, and her oldest is moving on to Adam’s Junior High. Her favorite pastime is running and her biggest physical accomplishment is qualifying for and running the Boston Marathon. Merry is passionate about passing on healthy lifestyle choices onto our children and is looking forward to taking on this role for the PTA this year at Jenks!

Michelle Leske
Katy Council Delegate
​Michelle has been a Jenks volunteer since 2019. She is a stay at home Mom of 4, a daughter in 5th grade, twin daughters in 1st grade and a two year old son at home. She is a Houston native and graduate of Katy ISD. Her favorite part of Jenks PTA has been helping create fun events for the students, and has created some of the most memorable events like the Spring Carnival and Fall Party. Michelle loves to read, travel and spend time with family and friends.

Nida Wani
Katy Council Delegate
Nida began volunteering at Jenks when it opened in 2016 and is super excited to be back now that her baby is starting Kindergarten! She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Nida has held several positions in the past including International Festival Chair and PTA Treasurer. She is passionate about creating a positive environment for our kids and will also be subbing again for the wonderful teachers of Jenks!
