Welcome to the Jenks PTA website. We will be updating information here frequently, so please check back often. The following is an update on our second yearbook distribution.
Did you miss the first yearbook distribution? Good news!! There will be one more yearbook pickup day, Tuesday, July 21st. Woohoo!
If you are unable to make this second yearbook pickup date, we will hold your yearbook until school starts.
This email is for parents that PRE-ORDERED a yearbook between July and March through the Balfour website OR were contacted directly from the yearbook committee very recently regarding your waitlist inquiry.
Please READ this updated letter in its entirety, so that the delivery process goes as smoothly as possible.
First, thank you for all your patience as we navigate this crazy time and try to make a plan to distribute yearbooks to our Jenks community.
IN ORDER TO PICK UP YOUR YEARBOOK, YOU MUST PROVIDE…
- PRE-ORDER FAMILIES:YOUR PRINTED RECEIPT(S) WITH YOUR CHILD(REN)’S FIRST/LAST NAME CLEARLY WRITTEN ON IT.
- WAITLIST FAMILIES: YOUR PRINTED EMAIL CONFIRMATION AND AN ENVELOPE WITH CASH OR CHECK. Written on the envelope: parent name, student name(s), email address, phone number. COST: $45 for each yearbook. If paying with cash, please have exact cash amount (no change will be given). If paying with a check, please make it out to Jenks PTA. No credit cards will be accepted.
- ALL FAMILIES: A PIECE OF PAPER ON YOUR DASH WITH YOUR CHILD(REN)’S FIRST/LAST NAME CLEARLY WRITTEN ON IT.
Pre-order families: There are two ways to find the receipt for your order: Search for “Balfour” in your email’s inbox, or Log into Balfour.com – go to orders. Still can’t find it? Email mjeyearbook@gmail.com. We are happy to help you!
Again, you must have the receipt printed in order to receive your yearbook. Please print your child(ren)’s first and last name on the receipt. We will use the order number to cross-reference the name if needed.
In order to maintain appropriate social distancing, the distribution will be a drive-through process. When you arrive, DO NOT get out of your car and to protect our volunteers, we request the driver wear a MASK. Watch for our volunteer’s directions, pull up, and roll down your window. From there, we will ask for your receipt/email confirmation and envelope. A runner will bring the yearbook to your car and we will ask for your signature as proof of receipt. Bring your own pen or pencil please.
Yearbook pickup will be on Tuesday, July 21 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Jenks Elementary. Follow the normal car rider pickup line that starts on the side of the school. Rainy day backup plan will be through the bus loop area. Distribution for July 21 will NOT be based on student last names.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COME ANYTIME BETWEEN 4:00PM AND 6:00PM on Tuesday, July 21st.
Questions and Answers:
I have moved out of state! How can I get my yearbook? Please email mjeyearbook@gmail.com after the July 21 distribution and we can discuss options.
I’m out of town that day/I have to work during this time! What can I do? We will keep your yearbook safe and sound until school starts.
I didn’t buy a yearbook. Will there be extra left for me to buy? Possibly. We usually receive a few printer “overages” that we use to replace books that were damaged through shipping or have minor errors from the printing process (ex: upside down page). We never know exactly how many overages we will receive. After the distribution is complete and we have verified all yearbooks are satisfactory, we will start contacting our waitlist. If you would like to be added to the waitlist please email mjeyearbook@gmail.com with the following information: Parent name, student name, parent phone number, parent email. We do not guarantee a yearbook to families on the waitlist. Yearbooks will be sold for $45.
**Please remember that the yearbook is created and distributed by parent volunteers and any mistakes are unintentional. We would also like to thank our volunteers that offered to help with the distribution of yearbooks during this challenging time (and during the heat of July).

MENSAJE DE JENKS PTA. Te perdiste la distribucion del primer anuario? ¡Buenas Noticias!! Habra un dia mas. Para recoger el anuario, sera el martes 21 de Julio. Woohoo !!!
Si no puedes asistir a esta segunda fecha, guardaremos tu anuario hasta que comience la escuela.
Este correo electronico es para padres que HAN Pre-Ordenado un anuario entre Julio y Marzo a traves del sitio web de Balfour, o fueron contactados directamente por el comité del anuario recientemente con respecto a su peticion en la lista de espera.
Por favor LEA esta carta actualizada en su totalidad, para que el proceso de entrega sea lo mas sencillo posible.
Primero, gracias por toda su paciencia mientras pasamos por estos momentos dificiles, hemos hecho un plan para tener una segunda distribucion de anuarios a nuestra comunidad en Jenks.
PARA RECOGER SU ANUARIO DEBE PROPORCIONAR . . .
- FAMILIAS CON PRE-ORDER: Su recibo impreso con el nombre y apellido de su (s) hijo (s) escrito claramente
2. FAMILIAS EN LISTA DE ESPERA: Su clave o numero de confirmacion de correo electronico impreso en un papel con letra clara. Aparte un sobre con el pago en efectivo o cheque. Escriba por fuera: nombre el padre, nombre del estudiante, direccion de correo electronico, numero de telefono. Costo del anuario es de $45 dls. c/u. Si usted paga efectivo tenga el monto exacto en el sobre (No se daran cambios). Si va a pagar con cheque, Por favor hagalo a nombre de JENKS PTA. No aceptamos tarjetas de credito. Hay dos formas de encontrar el recibo de su pedido, busque “Balfour” en la bandeja de entrada de su correo electronico o visite la pagina web Balfour.com. Vaya a pedidos. ¿aun no puedes encontrarlo? Manda un correo electronico a mjeyearbook@gmail.com ¡Estaremos felices de ayudarte!!
3.- TODAS LAS FAMILIAS: En el tablero de su auto coloque el nombre y apellido de su hijo en un papel con letra clara y visible.
NUEVAMENTE, debe traer un recibo impreso para recibir su anuario. Escriba el nombre y apellido de su hijo(s) en el recibo. Ademas usaremos el numero de pedido para hacer referencia con el nombre en caso necesario.
Para mantener un distanciamiento social adecuado, la distribucion sera a traves de su automovil, cuando llegue NO salga de su auto, le pedimos que use cubre boca (mascarilla) por proteccion a usted y nuestros voluntarios.
Este atento a las intrucciones de nuestros voluntarios. Baje la ventanilla, pues le pediremos su recibo SI usted es Pre-order. Clave o numero de confirmacion de correo electronico y el sobre en caso de ser lista de espera. Un corredor voluntario traera el anuario a su automovil y le pediremos una firma como comprobante de recibido. Por favor traiga su propio boligrafo o lapiz.
La recoleccion del anuario sera el martes 21 de Julio de 4:00 pm a 6:00 pm. En la Escuela Primaria Jenks. Maneje por la parte de atras de la escuela y siga instrucciones de los voluntarios. En caso de dia de lluvia la distribucion sera por la linea de los autobuses ubicada en el estacionamento del personal. La distribucion NO se basara en los apellidos de los estudiantes.
POR FAVOR, SIENTASE LIBRE DE VENIR EN CUALQUIER MOMENTO ENTRE LAS 4:00pm y las 6:00pm. El 21 de Julio.
PREGUNTAS Y RESPUESTAS:
Me he mudado fuera del Estado! ¿Cómo puedo obtener mi anuario? Envie un correo electronico a mjeyearbook@gmail.com depues de la distribucion del 21 de Julio y podremos analizar sus opciones.
Tengo que trabajar durante este tiempo/ Estoy fuera de la ciudad ese dia! ¿Qué puedo hacer? Mantendremos su anuario sano y salvo hasta el comienzo de las clases escolares.
No compre un anuario. ¿Quedara alguno extra que pueda comprar? Posiblemente. Por lo general recibimos algunos extras de la impresora que son usados para remplazo de los anuarios dañados durante el envio. Nunca sabemos exactamente cuantos extras tendremos. Una vez completada la distribucion y que hayamos verificado que todos los anuarios estan en excelente condicion comenzaremos a contactar nuestra lista de espera. Si usted desea ser agregado a la lista de espera envie un correo electronico a mjeyearbook@gmail.com con la siguente informacion. Nombre del padre, Nombre del alumno, Numero de Telefono del Padre o Madre, Correo electronico de Padre o Madre. No garantizamos un anuario a las familias en lista de espera. El costo del anuario es de $45.
**Por favor recuerde que el anuario es creado y distribuido por padres voluntarios y cualquier error no es intencional. Tambien nos gustaria agradecer a nuestros voluntarios que se ofrecieron a ayudar con la distribucion de los anuarios durante estos momentos dificiles( y durante el calor de Julio).
