Happy November everyone! It’s hard to believe we are over half-way done with this semester. I hope all our Jaguars are staying happy and healthy during this season. I wanted to once again thank you all for your PTA membership. Although things are still quite different, your PTA is still working hard to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all our Jaguars. This fall we are excited about participating in these programs:
- Red Ribbon Week- This is part of the National anti-drug campaign. If you haven’t already submitted photos of your Jags dressed up this week for our yearbook, please email them to mjeyearbook@gmail.com
- Reflections Art Program
- Virtual Career Week (11/16-11/20)
- If you ordered a poinsettia, we will have pickup details by the end of November.
- Jaguar Winter Dash (details coming soon) 12/1-12/15
- Spots/Santa/Firetruck drive by parade 12/5 from 10am-12pm. We will be sending route and more info soon.
- Watch for our Jenks Holiday shirt available for pre-order for a limited time starting 11/1 at jenkspta.com/shop
As we prepare for the spring, we are hoping to not only have more community events, but also have more guest speakers on topics that we all can relate to. All events will follow covid guidelines put forth from the district. ¡Feliz noviembre a todos! Es difícil creer que en este semestre ya estamos a mitad de camino. Espero que todos nuestros jaguares se mantengan felices y saludables durante esta temporada. Quería una vez mas darles las gracias a todos por su membresía en PTA. Aunque las cosas todavía son bastantes diferentes su PTA continúa trabajando duro para enriquecer la experiencia educativa y el bienestar general de todos nuestros jaguares.

Mientras nos preparamos para la primavera, esperamos no solo tener mas eventos comunitarios, sino también tener mas oradores invitados sobre temas que sean de interés para todos. Todos los eventos seguirán los protocolos de seguridad de Covid, directrices presentadas por el distrito escolar.
